The celebrity books I always suggest to friends

This blog post contains affiliate links
Before Britney’s book came out; I had previously read quite a few “celebrity books.” It can be challenging finding celebrity books that seemed interesting or shared things I had not already heard in the news. By the way; I loved her book and thought it was so not boring so of course I will suggest Britney’s book first.

Britney goes into more detail on her career, relationships with her family, exes, and that awful conservatorship. I finished most of it in one day!

If you’re not into reading a physical book; I found these fun as audiobooks in the car or at the gym.

Audiobooks for me can be great motivation to get extra walking time on a treadmill or when I am doing chores. Sometimes with tasks we do not enjoy…a little fun can help! I do not always want to hear about what is going on constantly the local and world news; I get plenty of that already.

A good celebrity book is just what I need at times. Of course the Bible is the best book and I recommend people always starting and ending their day reading the Bible

 Celebrity book reviews

One that I found interesting would be Travis Barkers’ book. I was curious to learn more about his airplane crashing survival story. The book turned out far more interesting than I expected. It’s amazing how far he has come from addiction to being successful, happily married and a good dad!

Not sure if you are a Bravo TV fan such as myself; but LaLa has my favorite book out of the Bravo stars so far. I have not read all of their books but I would say quite a bit. LaLa is from Vanderpump Rules although she does various cool things like a podcast and makeup line.

In the book; LaLa talks about dealing with loss of a parent, admitting she had a problem with alcohol, and more. It was a fun read for sure to me.

Dating & Relationships

If you’re single; I recommend this book. Not only have I read it many times; I never had those bad friendships and relationships with men again. It’s not for everyone but it helped me I felt with some extra confidence.

If you are going through a divorce; a good read would be Brandi Glanville’s first book. It was much better than many celebrity books I’ve read with the juicy details of her own divorce and interesting advice that could be helpful for a lot of women dealing with betrayal. By the way; I heard her and Eddie’s wife are okay now. Good for Brandi.

Jessica Simpson has a great book totally worth the read for me. When I read it I was expecting to hear about her fashion business but loved the relationship stories even more.

As a teen; I sort of had a “crush” on her ex Nick Lachey so finally learning about what happened more in their marriage was low-key exciting to me. Especially if you watched their reality show they had like me.

By the way; the fact she got sober is so awesome! I bet it is not easy for many people. Her fashion line is a big part of my wardrobe. The handbags and shoes are always my favorite. Since her fashion line is affordable I tend to pick up pieces often.

Thanks for checking out my quick reviews of celebrity books I have read lately and always still recommend to friends of mine.

Have books you no longer read? Try seeing if they sell on platforms such as this. You may want to try selling them in bundles/lots of a few.

Review: The Woman in Me

Britney Spears | The Woman in Me | BOOK REVIEW

This blog post contains affiliate links - Everything is allegedly and for entertainment purposes

I felt this book was such a great read and deserves five stars! I learned a lot more about Britney Spears and enjoyed hearing quite a bit of celebrity gossip. Britney is so brave and strong to have dealt with such lies, abuse, and torment. I could not have coped well I would imagine. She must be so tough! When reading it; it literally seemed like such abuse. It was!

How does a woman be so controlled she cannot have access to more of her money, who she wants to date, and where she wants to go? How sad she must have been. I feel so awful for her but am glad she is out of control from her father mainly.

Hearing about her former boyfriend Justin Timberlake cheating on her and wanting the abortion...I am not surprised! Just him making the music videos with Britney look-a-likes was mean enough. It was basically making people believe she was the total bad-girl in the situation. Britney did not really speak up much for herself and the world was lead to believe Justin was just so screwed over and he was the victim.

If all of this is true; which in my opinion I believe Britney...this is so heartbreaking. A lot of men and women want the benefit of fun when it comes to certain actions...they just do not want the consequences. Funny how that works! I think it takes two to make certain choices at times but women are often influenced deeply by those they love or date. Especially being young and naive! Imagine doing all that and he still ends up doing interviews about you.

Losing respect for Justin came for me when he did a radio interview but mentioned his intimate history with Britney. I remember hearing the radio interview and feeling so disgusted. I was so young when I heard it and knew no good man should do that. It just is not right.

When I got to the parts about her mother and little sister; I was the most surprised. When I was a little girl; I remember the first time I ever saw Britney on my television screen. It was the "...Baby one more time" video and I was in awe. She looked beautiful, fit, and like a confident girl dancing in the music video. I instantly became a HUGE fan.

Throughout my child and teen years some children at the schools I would attend would honestly make fun of me for liking Britney Spears so much. She seemed so genuine and talented to me; so I had zero regrets. That sort of bullying did not always get to me but now I like Britney even more.

Honestly, many loving or good mothers would be rebellious, angry, or plain out of control if they lost access to their funds, children, and literally everything else. The thought of just losing custody of children I birthed would seem like the end of the world to me! I am so glad she never lost her faith because I bet many people would have not been able to cope.

Britney Spears does mention praying and God in the book. That meant a lot to me for her mentioning just how little faith she used to have and that she did not believe in God anymore after going through so much heartache and abuse. Thank goodness she did not give up on herself. Sometimes even the biggest stars can feel alone and miserable; this book was eye opening for me.

I am so glad Britney began to pray more and trust God. I really admire her for going through so much sadness to finally be living a more free life now and getting closer to God.
