I have tried quite a few mascaras ranging from a lower to higher price point. I wanted to share my favorites that I suggest adding to your makeup collection...like now!
My absolute fave this far that I have ever tried was a bit of a splurge for me when it came to mascara. I was used to cheaper drugstore brands that worked well too. Now I wish I would have went ahead and tried this particular mascara way sooner as I feel it is totally worth the price. In fact; it was a game changer for me.
I had been wearing this mascara to work for quite awhile when women were actually arguing with me that I wear false lashes. I kept insisting I was not. And I was not. I was wear Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.
In the past I did try false lashes but that was years ago...I find this mascara gives me amazing lashes without having to buy costly false lashes that end up looking too "fake." Trust me; I enjoy false lashes but now only for special occasions. When I just am going to dress-up or maybe a date night; this mascara is my go-to.
Leaving the house without at least mascara is something I do not do much. When I was a little girl; I read in a teen magazine that Danielle Fischel who played Topanga in Boy Meets World had a quick beauty look of at least lip gloss and mascara on days she wanted to avoid a lot of makeup. Since then; I have taken the advice.
Putting on makeup can be quite therapeutic for me. It helps me feel more put together when I am having a stressful day for example. The least I can do when I am not wanting to wear a ton of makeup is go ahead and add some mascara or lip color to my face. It can make such a big difference!
If you are searching for a more budget-friendly or drugstore brand mascara...I know of two more amazing ones to check out. Covergirl has a great one you can check out that I have been using this Summer and Fall with no complaints. I am actually wearing it now; it looks so awesome once I apply it. My lashes look fuller, longer, and thicker using it.
When I was a little girl; my mom would also use this old-time favorite from Maybelline. Since I was a teen; I have been using it too. It is affordable and most stores I visit have it in stock...so easy to find. Best of all; the price point is not too expensive for even teens and college makeup wearers.
I was not always able to splurge on certain makeup and skincare items I indulge in these days...so Maybelline was my go-to brand for years. I still love their products to this day. This mascara is perfect for when you just want a light or natural look...or when you just need to run some errands. It will still do the job for a cute photo shoot too!
Of course no one needs makeup and I love going makeup-free throughout the week or when at home. You are beautiful just how you are! I just wanted to share the mascara's I think you would enjoy having to your makeup collection that I found totally worth the money.
