It is a better idea to post your affiliate links with an actual description of why you enjoy the product or brand you are marketing. People may think it is "spammy" if you just share a link all day. I have even heard of new bloggers failing with affiliate marketing at first because they do not include a story or why they love the affiliate marketing company they are promoting.
Makes total sense to me ! So get used to "story-telling" and telling why you use the product or why it could be a wonderful fit for someone else. I am truthful and honest about the brands I post and suggest because I want my followers to not just be "sold" something. I want them to actually like what I recommend because I hate wasting money on products online that are promoted to be great...and they end up being far from it.
I also like working with affiliate marketing programs that provide plenty of communication as well as resources for their affiliates. Some actually provide many high-quality images you can use on social media. Many e-mail their affiliates often to see if they can help out with creative promotion ideas in any way. Keep in mind some companies require you to earn a certain amount before they pay you out.
Adding affiliate marketing to your blog or social media pages that allow it is a fabulous way to monetize your platforms. There are so many places that have affiliate programs; some even pay you just to send leads or clicks to their websites. Most that I have found pay around 10% commission on sales. A super popular affiliate program is Amazon. So many people shop on amazon and they have such a large variety of products to purchase.
