Here are some ways college students can earn extra money in their spare time. Perhaps you already are very busy but need a flexible way to earn additional income from the comfort of your own college dorm room. Check out these suggestions you may want to apply for or know someone a perfect fit for!

I have noticed companies such as Varsity promotes their college job openings which I think is wonderful.

Often times companies such as NfinityAllstateLululemon, StyleSeatDisruptive AdvertisingDropboxRent the RunwayDoor DashChewyWantableLog Me InMinted FivestarsHellosignRemote Year, Shoott, Tinkergarten, Moms Meet, ClassPass and Stitch Fix have remote positions available to apply to.

Apply for a work from home customer support position. Use referral code 4132422 to apply at Arise.

These jobs are remote suggestions but you may also find great jobs to apply for at your local mall or restaurants. Restaurant industry jobs also tend to have been more flexible with my schedule. There is also Uber Eats which allows you to earn money doing food delivery.

Love photography? Try applying to do photography with Shoott or Flytographer. If you find yourself quite business savvy; consider starting a photography business part-timeDo you love pets or have some of your own? Try pet-sitting or dog walking. If you find yourself absolutely loving it...learn how to start a pet-sitting or dog walking business.

Grocery shopping for others or delivering food to families and offices is something pretty common in my area for adults of all ages and walks of life to earn extra money from. Sometimes you can even earn good tips with companies such as DoorDash. I hear mixed reviews with them honestly. I would still imagine it is better than nothing when you are in between jobs or not able to do a full-time job just yet with your schedule.

That brings me to another point. Some people truly just need something to do to get out of their college dorm. Maybe you are bored lately and moved from another state...not knowing anyone at your college just yet. Working can help many people meet new friends or learn new things. So many people learn new fun locations or restaurants to visit in their college town by driving others around. Enjoy meeting new people? There is always Lyft and Uber in which you drive others around and can earn tips.

Do you tend to be quite organized or love de-cluttering for relatives or friends already? Sometimes housekeepers in my area charge upwards of $20 per hour. I would imagine you can work as little or as much as you choose; especially if you do it as your own small business. You can learn more about your states laws and licensing requirements. If you prefer to just do laundry; check out Rinse

Cleaning baby gear is an interesting idea I seen online. I have not tried it; but it may be something you can try out if you just are looking for something to do.

Renting baby gear is something you can do if you want to invest in baby gear before hand. I find tons of great baby gear on sale that people actually rent out for money. I should be doing this as I am a mom! Some families basically rent out toys, bassinets and more while traveling.

If you love working with children consider teaching English onlinetutoring, baby-sitting or become a nanny. If you do decide to become a nanny; be sure to get paid what you are worth. Are you CPR and first aid certified? Do you have a lot of experience? Be sure to see what other nannies are charging in their area and talk to a tax professional.

Already have a large work on social media or a blog? Try referral programs for extra money. No; you will not "get rich" from them but sometimes they helped me out a lot in the past with money for groceries or car gas.

Have experience with social media marketing or graphic design? Try freelance work with companies such as Fiverr.

Love fashion or shopping at consignment shops and yard sales? I used to do fashion re-selling when I did not have a car once and made an extra $200 USD per month on average. It was not "great" but it was okay for me at the time to help with buying things I needed such as food or a night out with friends.

Ever considered re-selling items on eBay? You can start by cleaning out your own closets and home. Sell shoes, clothing, handbags, books, children's items, and home goods such as coffee mugs if you choose! Learn more information here.

Some people make full-time income re-selling. It is literally your own little business if you make it that way.
Want to even make money cleaning out your own closet? Maybe even try thrifting and re-selling fashion with companies such as:
